When you partner with Unisource and purchase papers from our respect™ line, you can reap substantial business benefit from going green. There are three categories to “green” papers available to you today. We like to think of them as our paper “Eco-Pillars.” They are papers made with:

• post-consumer, recycled fibers;
• wood fibers from responsibly managed forests and other certified sources,; or
• a manufacturing process that uses a renewable energy source.

These three “Eco-Pillars” define our respect™ family of mill brands and private label papers. All three pillars can be traced back to certifying agencies.

 

What is respect™?

• REFORESTATION attributes; FSC, SFI and/or PEFC Chain-of-Custody certification;

• RENEWABLE energy and utilization of manufacturing programs to safeguard resources: certification of Green e and/or Green Seal; and

• RECYCLED content: a minimum of 30% post-consumer recovered fiber, certified by the manufacturing mill and meeting EPA-recommended guidelines.
