Thank you for visiting the unisourcegreen.com respect™ portal, a place, where you can learn more about Unisource Worldwide, Inc.’s commitment to providing environmentally-friendly papers, with “green” attributes. When you partner with Unisource and purchase papers from our respect™ line, you can reap substantial business benefit from going green.

There are three categories to “green” papers available to you today. We like to think of them as our paper “Eco-Pillars.” They are papers made with: 1) post-consumer, recycled fibers; 2) sustainable forest certified fibers; or 3) a manufacturing process that uses a renewable energy source. These three “Eco-Pillars” define our respect™ family of mill brands and private label papers. All three pillars can be traced back to certifying agencies.

What is respect™?
respect™ family papers are selected for:
  • Reforestation attributes; forest sustainability certification from FSC, SFI and/or PEFC;
  • Renewable energy and utilization of manufacturing programs to safeguard resources: certification of Green-e and/or Green Seal; and
  • Recycled content: a minimum of 30% post-consumer recovered fiber, certified by the manufacturing mill and meeting EPA-recommended guidelines.
Become a respect™ printer today and have your company's name appear on the Unisource greenfinder™. When you are listed on the greenfinder™ corporate specifiers, designers and end-users searching for papers with green attributes can easily locate you, a Chain-of-Custody certified printer in their local area, with a click of the mouse.
